But there'll also be plenty of opportunity for you to travel around and relax. During your volunteer placement, you can learn how to cook authentic Thai food, as well as get to explore the hills of Sangkhlaburi.

Alternatively, you may want to spend some time volunteering at a ranch while on a visit to the United States. Here you'll get the chance to pitch hay, gather cows on horseback and learn how to lasso!

Animal conservation in China, giving surf lessons to youngsters in South Africa and teaching English in Moldova are some of the other volunteering opportunities that you can get involved in, so there will be plenty of rewarding experiences for you to be a part of.
