There are many things which you can be sure of finding on a break to the island of Mallorca, the largest in the Balearic set.

From the guaranteed sunshine, to beautifully fresh seafood caught in the bays, the island really does offer everything – and those in search of some of the world’s best beaches will also not be disappointed on a holiday to a luxury villa in Mallorca.

The island boasts 70 beaches and no matter what you are looking for, you are sure to find it on Mallorca. From child-friendly seashore to beaches which offer thrill-seeking holidaymakers the chance to head out on jet skis, if you are on a Mallorca holiday you could visit a new beach every single day of your trip.

If you are looking for a quiet place to lie on a towel and catch up on some reading, then the beaches offered in the Andratx region are head to beat. More off the beaten track than some of Mallorca’s other bays, the beaches here are peaceful and offer solitude to visitors.

If your idea of a perfect beach is one where you can have fun playing volleyball, building sandcastles and swimming in the sea, then the beaches offered in the resorts of Magaluf and Palma Nova are sure to appeal.

These sandy bays are always busy and full of children, families and young people visiting the island for a taste of its famous nightlife. The beach fronts offer a wide range of bars, pubs and restaurants and as such, these beaches are perfect for fun-loving Brits on a holiday to Mallorca.

Nature fans in search of a beach with a difference could favour the Portals Vells Beach, which can be found in the Natural Area of Special Interest of Cap de Cala Figuera. This spot on Mallorca is protected due to the large numbers of sea birds who nest here.

Seafood fans will delight at the two restaurants on this beach, which offer the very best in fresh Spanish seafood, caught right on the shore.

If you are heading on a Mallorca holiday with children, then Paguera Beach is perfect. This small beach still offers all the facilities that families need and with plenty of rock pools to explore and pedalos to ride, it is ideal for youngsters.

Paguera has sunbeds and parasols for hire, so if you fancy getting out of the hot Spanish sun for a while this is the place to go. The small size makes it totally suitable for those travelling with children, as the compact layout means they can relax with the piece of mind that their youngsters are close by.

If you are seeking stunning scenery and don’t mind heading off the well-travelled tourist track, then why not head to the beach at Platja de Coll Baix?

This beach is not recommended for those who wish to sunbathe, as it is completely pebbled, but the natural rock amphitheatre that surrounds the bay makes this little beach well worth a visit on a holiday to a luxury villa in Mallorca.

The number of luxury villas which can be hired on the island make it a haven for the rich and famous – and if you want to see how the other half life, then Camp de Mar and San Telm beaches are a must-see.

Gaze out from these beaches and you will no doubt catch sight of million pound yachts moored in the bay – and who knows who could be aboard the luxury boats!

No matter which beach you choose to visit, you are sure to simply enjoy time spent relaxing on a Mallorca holiday away from home. There are so many luxury villas on the island that a beautiful sandy beach perfect for lying on and soaking up the Spanish sun is never far away.

Fun seekers will easily find a beach which offers watersports such as windsurfing and jet skiing – and those travelling to Mallorca with their children will have no trouble finding somewhere ideal for both youngsters and adults.

Other beaches which are well worth a visit on the island are Cala Deia Beach, Banyalbufar Beach and Sa Calobra Beach.
