Celebrity Cruises

Celebrity Cruises

Celebrity CruisesCelebrity Cruises have a reputation for fine food and professional service delivered onboard premium, sophisticated cruise ships. Signature amenities and features of this five star cruiseline include a martini bar, large comfortable and well appointed staterooms, fully equipped spas, and butler service for top suites.

A Celebrity Cruise is the perfect choice for cruisers who want to learn whilst they explore, as between two and five guest lecturers participate in the Enrichment Series programme on every itinerary.

Presentations may range from financial strategies, astronomy, wine appreciation, photography tips, and politics to the food, history, and culture of ports of call. Culinary demonstrations, bingo, and art auctions are additional diversions throughout the fleet. While spacious accommodations in every category are a Celebrity standard, the addition of Concierge Class, an upscale element on all ships, makes certain premium ocean-view and balcony staterooms almost the equivalent of suites in terms of service.

A Concierge Class stateroom includes numerous extras such as chilled champagne, fresh fruit, and flowers upon arrival, exclusive room-service menus, evening canapés, luxury bedding, pillows, and linens, upgraded balcony furnishings, priority boarding and luggage service.

Suites are still the ultimate, though, and include the services of a butler to assist with unpacking, booking spa services and dining reservations, shining shoes, and even replacing a missing button.

Most of the Celebrity fleet is equipped with wi-fi internet access and they also feature an extensively stocked library should guests chose to relax with a good book. Celebrity's Solstice Class have introduced a number of new features and activities, including The Lawn Club which is half an acre of freshly manicured lawn on the top deck of the ship where passengers can take a picnic or enjoy casual outdoor activities like croquet, boules or putting, on real grass.

Another innovation on Solstice Class is the Hot Glass Show and guests can watch as living art takes shape every day at a custom-designed outdoor glassblowing studio. Onboard, cruisers will find a superb original art collection from around the world; from Picasso to Hockney or Peter Max to Bottero and can learn more through art appreciation seminars and art auctions.

The first taste of Celebrity's Star Treatment begins as soon as guests arrive onboard with a friendly greeting, an offer of assistance and a complimentary glass of champagne or orange juice.

Because Celebrity Cruise ships feature an average of one member of staff for every two guests they are able to promise an unrivalled standard of service that anticipates guests every need both day and night. Celebrity staff pride themselves in anticipating every guests' needs and ensuring they have the holiday of a lifetime.

Across the fleet, a wide range of dining options are available and aside from the sophisticated ambience of its restaurants, every ship in the fleet has a highly experienced team headed by executive chefs and food and beverage managers, who have developed their skills in some of the world's finest restaurants and hotels.

Alternative restaurants on Solstice and Millennium Class ships and Century offer fine dining and table-side food preparation amid classic ocean liner and Venetian splendour.

A less formal evening alternative is offered fleetwide in the Casual Dining Boulevard, where guests will find a sushi bar, pizza and baked pasta, healthy spa items, and an area to order from the dining room menu.

Reservations are required, but there are no long waits, and reserving a table is usually not a problem.

Cova Café serves speciality coffees and pastries in surroundings inspired by the original in Milan although some offerings carry on additional charge.
