The big bus tour

The Big Bus has been operating in Dubai since May 2002 but the Big Bus Company was originally formed in London in 1991 by the Maybury family, Richard, Eleanor and Desmond. Starting with only two buses it now carries a million people a year in London. Big Bus provides a unique product with our popular hop-on hop-off City and Beach tours. Big buses are traditional open-top, double-decker London buses and Dubai currently has a fleet of eight vehicles imported from the UK. In addition to Dubai and London, Big Bus opened their first USA operation in Philadelphia in May 2003. All Big buses worldwide are painted in the traditional Big Bus livery of burgundy and cream.

Big Bus Tour Guides are specially trained and licensed by the DTCM (Department Tourism and Commerce Marketing). Big Bus tours, which are fully guided in English, are fun and informative and detail Dubai's evolving history, culture and economy. All the major landmarks are pointed out.
