The Two Pearls of Arabia: UAE & Oman

This 9 day tour takes you on a journey of culutral sites and heritage, traditional souk markets, and lush scenery across UAE and Oman. Combined with a fun-filled stay in Dubai and desert safari, you can be sure of having an adventurous, once in a lifetime experience of the the two pearls of Arabia.

Day1: ARRIVAL DUBAI: Arrival Dubai Airport. Meet & assist transfer to your hotel.

Day2: DUBAI: Sightseeing of Dubai. Afternoon- Desert Safari.

Day3: AL AIN: Full day tour to the garden city of Al Ain visiting its cultural sites and heritage including traditional houses and palaces, the museum, forts and parks and the camel market.. This place is an oasis in the desert, a best example of Arabian landscape.

Day4: DUBAI>MUSCAT: Fly to Muscat. Arrival meet & assist. City tour of the capital starting with a visit to the Natural History and Omani Museums. Proceed to Muttrah, a delightful quarter of Muscat, then visit the traditional souk and fishmarket. Proceed to old town, explore the place on foot strolling around the palace of Sultan Qaboos and the forts Jabali and Mirani.

Day5: MUSCAT: Drive along the fertile Batinah plain to visit Bait Na'am, an 18th century restored merchant house in Barka. Proceed along picturesque wadis- dry river beds- to the forts at Rustaq and Nakhl. On the way back to Muscat, pass by the natural warm springs of Thowarah.

Day6: MUSCAT: Drive through the scenic coast road to Sur via the fishing village of Quriyat and the beautiful lagoon and lush vegetation of Wadi Shab. Overnight in Sur.

Day7: SUR: Visit the dhow yard where the traditional boats are built then drive to Wahiba desert for an exciting dune drive. Proceed to Nizwa for an overnight.

Day8: NIZWA: Visit the 17th century Nizwa Fort then wander through colorful markets "souks" before proceeding to Bhala to see its UNESCO listed fort. Visit the beautiful Jarbin Castle before driving back to Muscat.

Day9: DEPARTURE MUSCAT: Transfer departure airport.
