Vietnam Travel Plan

Create your own Holiday in Vietnam

Vietnam is a really great destination if you have 2 or 3 weeks. It is a long and thin country, so decisions about what route to take are nice and simple : you can either travel from the South to the North or from the North to the South (it is about 800 miles between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City). One thing is for sure, this is a great country if you want to see and do loads. Where you stop and what you do along the way is where we can help you.

Vietnam Travel Plan caters for independent travellers who don't want to do a group tour, but do want to maximise their trip time. We know Vietnam intimately, and have created over 20 different bite sized adventures, usually of 2-3 days each. You can pick and mix from these to create your own unique trip. You can book as much or as little as you like, and are free to leave gaps if you want to do your own thing for a while.

In Vietnam you might want to :

Trek in Sapa (north of Hanoi) through dramatic hill-tribe country...but on which trek and for how long?

Take a trip through the Mekong Delta south of Ho Chi Minh City...but do you also want to combine this with a few days on a lush tropical island ?

Take the train for part of your journey ...which bits are best to do ?

Relax on a stunning beach at the end of your trip...but which one is best for you ?

Spend a couple of lazy days on a slow boat around spectacular Halong Bay...but don't want it to be sold out when you get there ?

See great places like like Hue, Mui Ne and Hoi An...but don't want to waste time hunting for accommodation when you get there ?

We are here to help put it into a logical order, book up the bits you want and fill in the gaps, as we can book your connecting overnight trains, domestic flights, private speedboat transfers and ferries as well. We also offer Hanoi and Saigon city starter packs.

We have researched Vietnam thoroughly and sourced some really lovely places to stay. All are locally owned and are authentically Vietnamese. Outside of the big cities, all accommodation is low key such as on an island with only 15 beach huts, on a junk ship in Halong Bay, or in hotels with French colonial touches.

The end result is a personally tailored Travel Plan, allowing you to know how you’ll spend your time in Vietnam, but do it independently once there. It really takes away the headache of arriving with nothing planned, and having to negotiate and arrange things and running the risk them being full. Vietnam Travel Plan lets you spend your holiday, on holiday, doing what you planned to do, independently.

We are a U.K. based and are ABTA / ATOL bonded, which means that you have 100% financial security. We also provide you with 24 hour local contact details for while you are away should you need extra help while on your trip.

Forget the Vietnam you may have seen in the war movies – it is not nearly as wet and miserable as they might have you believe, especially considering that by and large they were not even shot in the country.More ...
