Virgin holidays are celebrating the London 2012 Olympic Games with a very speedy sale - set around the Men's 100 metre final.

The travel company plans to offer special flight packages to the home country of the athlete who wins the race on Sunday evening. The packages will be priced at the same number as the winning race time.

This means that, if Usain Bolt keeps his world record of 9.58 seconds, Virgin customers will be able to fly to Jamacia for £958. Or, if USA favourites Justin Gatlin from New York or Tyson Gay, who trains in Florida, surprise the world and beat him to the finish - then travellers will be able to fly to the USA for a bargain price.

The offer will be running until until the closing ceremony, and it will be available to book from all Virgin Holidays retail outlets.
