Fly to Perth in just 19 hours

Qatar Airways have launched a new flight path to Perth, Australia. Taking just over 19 hours, the new service is set to be one of the fastest Down Under.

Flights from London Heathrow and Manchester will operate three times a week before moving to a daily service in November 2012.

Christie Lord, UK Regional Manager at Tourism Western Australia, commented: "This new service from Qatar Airways is great news for British travellers as the route is one of the quickest to Australia.

"There has also never been a better time to visit Western Australia. This year there are new boutique hotels launching in Perth and luxury lodges and aerial safaris opening up the pristine Kimberley region in our north west.

The whale sharks are also being spotted in large numbers at the world heritage listed Ningaloo Reef as well whales, manta rays and turtles. Within 24 hours of leaving London visitors could be swimming with the largest fish in the ocean."

Economy fares on the new flights start from £785pp and business fares from £2,625pp.
