Ever wanted to climb across the iconic O2 arena?
Up at the 02 has launched – allowing visitors can climb the outside of the 02 arena and take in 360° views of the Capital!
The first visitors embarked on a guided expedition across the roof of The O2 this morning via a tensile fabric walkway suspended 52m above ground level.
Pam Woodgate, one of the first guests to make the ascent, said of the experience: “It’s definitely exhilarating and something that shouldn’t be missed.”
During the adventure, guest can expect to spend a total of 90 minutes in a group of 30, being led by a climbing expert to the central observation platform. Visitors climb along a 190m long fabric walkway, which is suspended between The O2’s distinctive yellow masts.
Although thrilling, organisers admit that the tours are suitable for anyone who is at least 10 years old and 1.2m tall.
Up at The O2 is open year round and tickets will cost £22 for adults and children. O2 customers will be able to get 15 per cent off the ticket price with Priority Moments.
