We're an adventurous lot when we travel; 70 per cent of Brits have admitted to trying new things whilst away from home, according to a survey by GoSeeDo.

The holiday bookings website, which launched today, also discovered that 50 per cent of parents have experienced their children’s ‘firsts’ whilst they were away from home – whether they were trying new food, going to their first water park or diving for the very first time.

A further 80 per cent believed that their children were much more adventurous when they were on a holiday and two thirds believed these positive changes lasted when kids got home, after trying out new things on holiday.

GoSeeDo are hoping to encourage even more travellers to try new experiences – through the launch of their ticketing website. The site allows families to pre-book and pre-plan days out – so they can focus on what to do in an area rather than just were to go.

Jeff Brazier, TV Presenter and GoSeeDo ambassador, commented: “As a busy father of two, I am always looking for new and fun-filled things to do with the kids in our spare time – whether at weekends or during the holidays.

"GoSeeDo offers inspirational ideas for places to go and sights to see, which certainly makes my life easier when trying to decide on a family day out! Spending time together as a family is incredibly important to me and being able to share treasured experiences and ‘firsts’ with my two sons allows us to create unforgettable memories that last a lifetime.”

To celebrate the launch, GoSeeDo is offering all customers five per cent off all experiences available on the website.
