New France route for Flybe

A new year-round French flight connection between London Gatwick and Nantes has been announced by Flybe.

From July 15th 2010 the UK domestic airline will fly six times a week between London Gatwick and the Brittany region's most important commercial hub (Nantes is France's sixth largest city.

This new route will see Flybe's 2010 summer schedule offering a total of 44 routes to France, eight of which are new, with a total choice of up to 350 flights a week to and from 11 UK and 12 French airports.

Mike Rutter, Flybe's chief commercial officer, commented: "We have an enviable reputation for serving regional France and our new route linking London Gatwick with Nantes demonstrates our ongoing commitment to expanding our route network and to providing innovative, quality travel options to key destinations."

Flights are available for booking now on Flybe's website with one way fares starting from £39.99 including taxes and charges.
