Free accommodation in Canada
Rocky Mountaineer is celebrating its 20th season with a special deal for travellers who are looking to explore Canada.
Guests who book any Rocky Mountaineer rail journey or package by May 31st will be treated to a free night at a Fairmont hotel in Vancouver.
In addition to this, guests who book GoldLeaf Service or an Escorted Rail Tours package before May 31st will get a free night at a Fairmont hotel in Vancouver and also receive a free round trip onboard the Whistler Mountaineer train which travels between Vancouver and Whistler - the host destination for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
The Whistler Mountaineer features an open-air Heritage Observation Car, offering unrestricted views of the landscape.
The GoldLeaf Service onboard the Rocky Mountaineer offers a unique experience; from the GoldLeaf Dome Coach featuring full-length windows for unparalleled panoramic views of rugged canyons, snow-capped mountains, shimmering lakes and icy glaciers to exquisite gourmet options in the GoldLeaf Dining Room, served by a host of talented onboard chefs who prepare gourmet meals from fresh local ingredients that celebrate the distinctive character of Western Canada.
"In light of the current economic climate, travellers are still looking for great value and a world-class travel experience," said Sarah MacIntyre, director of European sales at Rocky Mountaineer.
"In response to this trend, we have rolled out this latest offer to enable Rocky Mountaineer guests to enjoy the spectacular city of Vancouver for a little longer and also the opportunity to enjoy a free journey on our Whistler Mountaineer."
