New cheap flight to Kuala Lumpur

To celebrate the launch of AirAsia X's direct daily service between London and Kuala Lumpur, the low-cost airline is releasing a limited number of one-way fares.

Seats are on offer from £149 (including all taxes).

Since its inaugural Stansted - Kuala Lumpur route in March, AirAsia X has operated the service five times a week, but unprecedented passenger demand has led to the introduction of a new daily service which will commence July 1st 2009.

The £149 seats are only available from today until April 23rd 2009, for the travel period beginning July 3rd 2009 until January 31st 2010.

AirAsia X CEO Azran Osman-Rani said: "AirAsia X is providing fares people have never seen before for these routes, and making travel more affordable and accessible.

"From KL people are choosing from over 122 AirAsia routes. We are also offering an affordable and alternative version of the 'Kangaroo Route' - all the way from London via KL to Melbourne, Perth and the Gold Coast in Australia."

Tickets are available from Air Asia.
