Eurostar have announced the introduction of extra direct services to Disneyland Resort Paris, starting on Thursday July 18th.

The increased number of trains will provide an additional 33,000 seats to and from the resort. Tickets will be available from March 18th.

The extra trains will run on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from London St Pancras International and Ashford International. Services returning from France will depart on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Eurostar are planning to host a Disney extravaganza at its Bluewater store over the Easter weekend to celebrate the announcement. The Disney jazz band will entertain shoppers and there will also be competitions and giveaways for children.

"These extra services will make it even easier for families and friends to visit Europe's leading tourist attraction during the summer holidays," commented Simon Montague, Eurostar's director of communications.

"The midday departure times are ideal for travellers living in towns and cities beyond London, who can buy through fares and use domestic rail to St Pancras International, King's Cross and Euston to connect with Eurostar high-speed trains."
