Starting in Cairo, travellers are today invited to visit the Pyramids and Sphinx as well as the Egyptian Museum, home to the Tutankhamun collection. The journey continues to Sinai where travellers will watch the sunrise over Mount Sinai before snorkelling along the shores of the Red Sea.

Travellers will then cross the border to Jordan and camp Bedouin-style at Wadi Rum. The journey ends with visits to the rock-cut city of Petra, the remote Dana Nature Reserve and the opportunity to float in the Dead Sea.

The trip, with the Adventure Company, costs from £1,289 per person with a £100 local payment per person upon arrival.

The price includes flights, accommodation, transport, activities as per the itinerary and some meals (nine breakfasts, one lunch and three dinners).

The Pyramids to Petra 11-day trip departs May 23rd 2009.
