Wednesday, 24 Jan 2007 15:13
Low-budget airline Ryanair is expanding its service from Dublin with five new routes to airports in Spain, Denmark and Poland.

The new route to Billund is the first low-fare route between Ireland and Denmark, while the route to Rzeszow brings the total Ryanair routes to Poland from Dublin to seven.

Irish budget travellers will also have a chance to explore more of Spain thanks to new routes to Vitoria, in the north of the country, Seville and Almeria, in Andalucia.

Ryanair is celebrating with another flight sale, and has today released half a million seats from Dublin to Europe for just €9.99 all in. In addition, it announced plans to open nine more routes from Dublin by May.

The airline's head of communication, Peter Sherrard, said: "Ryanair's low fares revolution is delivering record tourism growth by reducing the cost of travel for Irish passengers and visitors."
