Top ten destinations for 2007

In a wide-ranging global survey of holidaymakers' likes and dislikes, the Pammukkale in Turkey came out as the world's top destination for 2007.
Other findings from the survey by travel website Tripadvisor are that BA is the world's favourite airline and Ayr in Scotland is ranked as the world's top new destination. However, Heathrow was voted the world's least favourite airport.
Ryanair was voted world's least favourite airline, beating the USA's United Airlines to the worst spot.
The survey also found travellers' new favourite holiday type was adventure climbing holidays, with interest in spa holidays dropping off.
Global hotspots loosing their appeal included Miami in the USA, Hawaii's capital Honolulu and Acapulco, Mexico.
The survey also revealed lots of details about the British holidaymaker's habits. Brits were ahead of the rest of the world in taking their annual holiday leave - 85 per cent compared to 70 per cent worldwide - however, UK holidaymakers were less likely to try adventure, sporting, educational or cultural activities.
When it comes to what the world's travellers are worrying about, the threat of terrorism was at the forefront of where people chose to go, 44 per cent saying it was an extremely important factor. Travellers were also concerned about natural disasters (28 per cent) and bird flu (21 per cent).
