Regent St festival photo competition

Friday, 05 Sep 2008 10:38
The annual Regent Street Festival is coming up this weekend and a new photography competition gives happy snappers a chance to win £500 shopping vouchers.

The What's Great About Britain to You? competition challenges anyone to capture the 'great British experience' in a photograph.

It is open to professional photographers and enthusiastic amateurs from around the world and prizes include a £500 shopping experience on Regent Street as well as £300 Jessops photographic vouchers.

This year's festival – on Sunday September 7th 2008 - will showcase Britishness, from the eccentric to the quintessential.

Photographs will be judged on originality, creativity, artistic inspiration and 'Britishness'.

The ten most inspiring photographs will be professionally printed and mounted, and will be displayed on Regent Street.

The competition closes on December 31st 2008.

For more information and to upload your photos see Regentstreetonline.com.
