London ice rinks prepare for season

Three dazzling ice rinks are set to offer Londoners a chance to show their skating skills this winter.

Firstly, the Tower of London rink is situated in the dry-moat beneath the fortress of the Tower.

The real-ice rink offers the chance to skate in a truly unique setting on the banks of the River Thames, and will be open from November 22nd 2008 to January 11th 2009, with more information available here.

Next Hampton Court opens a rink for the sixth consecutive year. One of London’s most dramatic ice rinks, situated on the banks of the River Thames, the location offers the ultimate festive skating experience.

Again a real-ice rink, the located is open from November 29th 2008 to January 11th 2009, and is set against the stunning backdrop of Henry VIII’s historic Tudor palace.

Finally, London’s most magical ice rink returns to the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew for another festive skating season.

Situated in the heart of the gardens in a majestic woodland setting beneath the dramatically illuminated Temperate House, this a breathtaking skating experience.
