Passengers looking to travel to the USA during 2009 will be able to make savings when booking as part of American Airlines’ 'Great American Sale'.
Flights to nine of the most popular destinations in America have been reduced as part of the promotion, for passengers booking their travel before January 27th 2009.
The cheap flight sale will see prices between London Heathrow and New York JFK starting from just £239 per person return, including taxes and surcharges.
From Heathrow prices to Boston will also to fall to f259, while Chicago and Miami will see the cost of a return flight fall to £269 and £289 respectively.
For those looking to depart from Manchester, a flight to New York JFK will now cost £269 while Dallas/Fort Worth and Los Angeles will cost £304 and £320 per person for a return deal.
To take advantage, itineraries must be booked early, but the fares are valid for travel now until June 30th (excluding April 1st-10th) and again between September 1st-30th 2009.
