Eden Project family summer holiday fun

Cornwall's Eden Project is running an exciting family fun programme this summer holidays, encouraging families to enjoy playing in the outdoors together.
The Den Challenge was launched last year and involves families working together as a team to build a fantasy shelter.
The dens can be made from materials including old sails, tyre inner tubes, bamboo, sheets, poles, rope, rugs and clothes horses.
Eden Project programme producer Emma Hogg said it got quite competitive last year as visitors got into the spirit of the event.
She said that families will "be able to learn all sorts of survival skills such as knot-tying, making fire without matches, family trails, treasure hunts, an orienteering challenge, kite-making workshops and there will be a magical base camp to explore".
After all the activity, visitors can relax in one of the hammocks strung from various trees or relax in a tipi full of bean bags and cushions.
There are a number of cafes and restaurants on-site selling tasty and nutritious food.
In August visitors can also enjoy traditional camp fire fare served from a granite-walled fire pit.
The former china clay pit near St Austell in Cornwall is a popular day out for Brits and tourists alike and this summer it will be open every day from July 19th to September 4th from 10:00 to 18:00 BST.
On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays opening hours are extended to 20:00 BST (last admission at 18:30).
Entry to the Eden Project costs £36 for a family (two adults and up to three children); £15 for adults; £5 for children. Under-fives are free. After 16.30 BST entry costs £9 per adult and nothing for children.
