Top holiday reads
Waterstones has asked customers to name their top holiday reads – with some interesting results.
Twelve customers have recommend books perfect for taking on holiday; with those selected appearing in a special offer fro the book chain.
There's something for everyone to take away with them in this eclectic list.
From biographies (Maureen Lipman, Piers Morgan and Terry Wogan) and kids books (Roald Dahl, Jacqueline Wilson and Enid Blyton) to fiction (Margaret Mitchell, John Irving and Louis de Bernieres) and crime (Agatha Christie, Ruth Rendall and Colin Cotterill)
For example Tess Thorne, recommending High Noon by Nora Roberts, said: "Strong women, hot men, sex and action = exactly what you need for a perfect holiday read."
Meanwhile Don't You Know Who I Am?, by Piers Morgan, was recommended by Helen Gough, who explained: "Diary style gossip, full of laughs and gasps. Perfect to pick up and put down while on holiday anywhere!"
