Cheap flight portal Opodo.co.uk has expanded its no frills offering, as demand continues to increase.
The site will now carry flights from Easyjet, Monarch, Jet2, Sterling and Wizz Air – with further carriers expected be announced in the coming weeks.
Andrew Wilson, commercial director at Opodo, explains: "We’ve noticed more and more people are looking to save money on their flights.
"The Opodo customer is typically savvy and a smart booker, and these new itineraries give them more direct flight choices at better prices.
"Combined with the recent launch of our air booking tools, we’re providing customers with more ways to save on their travel so they have more cash to spend when they get there."
Opodo – which stands for Opportunity to Do – was founded by a consortium of European airlines, including British Airways, Air France, Alitalia, Iberia, KLM, Lufthansa, Aer Lingus, Austrian Airlines and Finnair.
