Judith Chalmers on holiday health

Thursday, 03 Jul 2008 17:43
Wish You Were Here's long-time presenter Judith Chalmers warns that millions of Britons are putting their health at risk while on holiday and offers some timely advice.

New research from the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB) reveals that 53 per cent of British holidaymakers suffer sunburn and almost one in five experience illness including vomiting and fever.

The RPSGB is also concerned that many people travel ill-equipped for illness and then buy medication abroad without really understanding what they are taking.

Click here to watch Judith Chalmers and pharmacist Alistair Murray discussing travel health tips so people can avoid a holiday from hell.
