Valentine's ski romance

Friday, 25 Jan 2008 15:59
The top five romantic ski destinations have been named by the Ski Club of Great Britain just in time for Valentines' Day.

The tender firelight of a chalet, the sleigh rides and hot tubs after a day on the piste all make a skiing break one of the most romantic options around – whether you are looking to find love in the snow or treat a loved one.

With February 14th in mind, the Ski Club has named the five most romantic ski resorts:

  • St Moritz, Switzerland
  • Megève, France
  • Kitzbühel, Austria
  • Arabba, Italy
  • Andermatt, Switzerland

The Ski Club research has also picked out the top five romantic places to stay:

  • Badrutt’s Palace, St Moritz
  • Les Fermes de Marie, Megève
  • Hotel zur Tenne, Kitzbühel
  • Al Forte Hotel, Arabba
  • Hotel zur Sonne, Andermatt
