Extra train for US friendly at Wembley

Thursday, 08 May 2008 17:53
An extra late night train will be laid on for England football supporters heading home after the upcoming friendly against the USA at Wembley stadium.

National Express has announced that tickets for the train service from King's Cross to York after the May 28th fixture will go on sale today.

The train will leave London at 11:45 BST, stopping at Stevenage, Grantham, Newark North Gate and Doncaster on the way.

John Gelson, spokesman for National Express East Coast, said: "This extra late night train makes it possible for football fans living up to 188 miles from London to go to the game in comfort and style and return home afterwards without the extra cost of an overnight hotel stay in the capital."

For information and bookings see the National Express website or call 08457 225225.
