Twice-daily London-Washington flights with Virgin Atlantic

A second daily service from London Heathrow to Washington is being launched by Virgin Atlantic from April 20th.
The extended services to Washington Dulles International airport will operate over summer until October 25th 2008.
It will offer travellers a late afternoon departure from London and a late evening return from Washington.
"DC is much more than the home of the US government, it is a very colourful city, offering great hotels, restaurants and shopping for those travelling on business or leisure," said Virgin chief executive Steve Ridgway.
The new flight VS055 will depart from London Heathrow at 17:30 BST and arrive in Washington at 20:55 local time and flight VS056 will return at 23:10 local time, arriving at Heathrow at 11:35 BST the following day.
