November is the best time to see the world's largest great white sharks according to shark diving specialists Sharkdiver.com.
Years of research by the company shows Isla Guadalupe, around 200 miles from the west coast of Mexico's Baja California peninsula, is the top dive destination to see the 18-foot great whites up close.
The company has been offering trips in the area for four years, led by shark specialists and research teams, and has been carefully monitoring the behaviour of the sharks.
"We have data showing these sharks actively stalking the small Guadalupe Fur Seals (pups and adults) early in the shark season," explained head of Sharkdiver.com Patric Douglas.
"By November these pups are quite big and begin to play offshore, which is the equivalent of ringing the dinner bell for females who need to consume mass quantities of food to fuel up for the winter and for breeding season."
