Opodo to offer Lapland Santa day-trips

For children and the young at heart this Christmas, there is now the opportunity to have lunch with Santa at his Lapland home and still be back in England in time for bed.

Travel company Opodo.co.uk are offering people the chance to visit Santa's workshop in a day trip from the UK or if you have the time, a three or four-night break.

Christmas visitors will have the chance to meet some of Finland's 200,000 strong reindeer population, go on a husky sleigh ride, snow mobile and of course meet the man himself.

Day trips cost £399 per person, and four-night breaks cost £395 per person self –catering or £505 per person on a half-board basis.
