Iceland's incredible glaciers and geysers are one of the country's major draws, along with the exciting buzz of the capital Reykjavik.
With these two attractions in mind, Saga Holidays has put together a new package break in Reykjavik and Akureyri taking in waterfalls, thermal waters with the chance to do some whale spotting on the way.
In Reykjavik the tour visits the Thingvellir National Park, the lake of Thingvallavatn and the Gullfoss Falls, as well as stopping by some hot springs and a chance to try out the effects of the area's healing mud.
The city's cultural attractions including museums, galleries and churches are also on the itinerary.
Akureyri is a gateway to Iceland's fjords, mountains, as well as being home to the world's northern-most golf course.
Holidaymakers keen to see whales in the wild can take a tour to see humpbacks, giant fin and killer whales from Akureyri.
Prices start from £999 per person departing October 8th 2007, including breakfasts, two lunches and two dinners. For more information see
