For travellers who like to do it in style, Italian luxury holiday specialist Kirker has released a new selection of tailor-made holidays for 2008.

Italy's beautiful lakes, cities and coast all feature in the itineraries on offer, with visitors able to combine city centre stopovers with a Tuscan or lakeside retreat.

Popular options for summer breaks are the picturesque towns along the Amalfi Coast, such as Amalfi, Positano and Ravello. These can be combined with shopping and cultural breaks in Florence, Bologna or Rome.

Holidays with a musical angle are available, with escorted tours to the Puccini Opera Festival (July 23rd - 29th), the Macerata Opera Festival (July 29th - August 4th) and the exclusive Kirker Music Festival in Ischia (October 24th - 31st).

Private transfers and first class rail tickets between destinations add to the stylish feel of these holidays.

Each of the cultural tours is led by a specialist lecturer and includes transport, accommodation and excursions, covering topics ranging from architecture and art to horticulture and history.
