For those who want a luxury holiday in 2008 far away from the crowds of the Costa del Sol, travel company Travelsphere have just released details of their new brochure.

The new holidays include a luxury fortnight in the Far East, where visitors can explore Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok from £1,749, or alternatively can get their dose of sunshine in a new 16-day Central American tour of Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico from £1,899.

For nature lovers, and those partial to a lot of space but not many people, a 16-day tour of the American Rocky Mountains, which takes you by train from Banff to Vancouver, followed by a week-long Alaskan cruise should do the trick. Prices start at £2,199.

Or if you want to stay closer to home, a seven-day walking holiday in Italy that takes place amid the stunning coastal scenery of the wild and beautiful Ligurian coast, will cost from £720.
