Autumn wine tours launched

Two new wine tour holidays to France and Portugal are being launched in September and October by BK Wine.
The wine and gourmet holiday specialist will be offering trips to France's well-known Burgundy winemaking region from September 26th to 30th 2007.
"Burgundy is one of the world's top wine regions but it is also a wine area that can be difficult to grasp," explained Britt Karlsson, founder of the BKWine.
"On this trip we will show the participants how to find the top quality and best value wines in Burgundy. It is also a region that is famous for its gastronomy and we will have several occasions to sample some of its wonderful food."
Also new for the autumn is a trip to the up-and-coming wine region of Alentejo in Portugal from October 17th to 21st 2007.
"Portugal, and Alentejo in particular, is a wine region that is tremendously dynamic today and enormous progress has been made over the last ten years, it now produces some exceptional wines. On this trip we also visit Evora, one of Unesco's World Heritage sites," added Ms Karlsson.
