Warnings on Easter driving holidays abroad

With millions set to head overseas this Easter weekend, Saga is warning Brits thinking about driving holidays in Europe to check they are fully covered on their insurance.
More than three million UK motorists take to the roads while overseas each year, but many do not check the full rules about the country they are set to drive in before heading off - thinking their UK licence and insurance will cover them.
But Saga points out the rules change depending on where you are going - and this could put Brits in trouble.
For example, showing a GB identification on the back of the car is compulsory when you drive in Europe, and failing to display one will render you liable to an on-the-spot fine.
Additionally, many European countries have toll roads - so Saga recommends you have lots of change in the local currency of the countries you are travelling through and to.
