If the idea of a fun city break that involves trying lots of different types of high-quality chocolate sounds good then you might want to consider visiting Switzerland during the Geneva Chocolate Festival.
The chocolate festival takes place on March 17th in the town of Versoix close to Geneva, famous for being home to renowned chocolatiers Favarger.
Started in March 2005, holidaymakers will get a chance to sample chocolate from 15 different Swiss producers, as well as see a chocolate fountain in action and take in chocolate-related films, such as Chocolat starring Johnny Depp, in the special tent.
Special bus or boat transport is planned for the day between Geneva's city centre and Versoix.
Return flights with Easyjet are available from around £36 including taxes from London Gatwick, Luton, and Stansted, Bournemouth, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Belfast, Liverpool and East Midlands.
