Jet2 launch cheap European ski holidays

Low-cost tour operator Jet2holidays.com is launching a range of cheap ski holidays to France, Austria and Italy for the 2008 season.

The Leeds-based airline will use existing flights from the UK to Chambery, Geneva and Salzburg to serve 17 ski resorts on the continent.

The skiing holidays will start from £159, which includes resort transfers, and self-catering and bed and breakfast accommodation for a week or two-week long holiday.

"With a raft of excellent three and four-star accommodation on our books and low cost flights provided in the package by Jet2.com, we can now offer residents of the UK more piste for less, with holidays starting under £160," commented Richard Bodin, Jet2holidays managing director.

The first holidays will be departing in December 2007.
