Ryanair announces new routes to Madrid

Following the creation of a new European base in Madrid, Ryanair has announced 14 new routes to the Spanish capital.

To introduce the new routes the low-cost airline has 100,000 tickets from Madrid available for €1 (excluding taxes or charges).

The routes are set to start from November 22nd 2006.

Michael Cawley of Ryanair said: "These new routes are available for booking today from just €1 on www.ryanair.com and we advise passengers to book early as demand will be very strong."

There will be daily Ryanair flights to Madrid from Dublin in Ireland, Faro and Porto in Portugal, Marseille and Paris in France, and Eindhoven in Holland.

There will be three or four flights to Madrid per week from East Midlands and Bournemouth airports in UK, Billund in Denmark, Brussels in Belgium, Oslo in Norway, Gothenburg and Malmo in Sweden and Shannon in Ireland.
