Easyjet's summer flights go on sale

Monday, 27 Nov 2006 12:17
Low-cost airline Easyjet will release its summer 2007 flights for sale from tomorrow, which includes three new routes.

Easyjet will begin two new services from Newcastle this summer, flying to the Polish capital Krakow from April 1st 2007 and to Mahon in Menorca from July 14th 2007.

In June 2007 there will also be a new service to Bordeaux in France from Bristol.

The airline says it will be releasing information about the remaining flights, including those from London airports, within the next few weeks.

Commenting on the new flights to Krakow, Easyjet said: "One of Poland's hidden treasures, Krakow boasts colourful medieval architecture, numerous world-class monuments, charming vistas and some of the world's most inviting restaurants."

The airline said of Mahon: "Mahon is capital of the popular Balearic island of Menorca and is also known as Mao. . . a beautiful historical city with much to do in and around the centre.

"Outside of Mahon, the island boasts plenty of beautiful beaches, particularly along its south-west coast."

And Bordeaux has more to it than award-winning wines, Easyjet added.

"The city has excellent museums, neo-classical architecture and well-tended parks. . . an ethnically diverse population with a vibrant nightlife and a lively university community of some 60,000 students."
