Scandinavia's largest low-cost airline, Norwegian, has launched a new service linking London to the city of Tromsø in north Norway.
The service will launch on December 8th and operate twice weekly between the two cities.
"It is very exiting to add Tromsø to our already growing network out of London and the UK," commented Daniel Skjeldam, director of network and revenue at Norwegian.
"We strongly believe this destination offers something special to the market. Tromsø presents fantastic arctic nature and wildlife, cosmopolitan city life, polar nights and midnight sun, and it’s all a short low-cost flight away from London.
"The city is also a gateway to the Arctic with great connections onward with the passenger line Hurtigruten."
The city is also famous for its wooden houses, colourful local character, thought-provoking culture and frenetic nightlife.
Flights cost from £35 – inclusive of taxes – and are on sale now.

Norwegian Airlines website.
The city itself also has a fantastic
