New Zealand top travellers' choice

Milford Sound and
Queenstown in New Zealand have been named first and second in the top 100 world travel destinations, according to a new poll.
New Zealand also had Auckland (38th), Wanaka (46th) and Christchurch (48th) placed in the list.
Other top 20 highlights included Banff in Canada, Amalfi and Siena in Italy, Bruges in Belgium and various Caribbean islands, including Cuba.
In the UK, the city of Edinburgh (27th) was the favourite destination in the UK, considerably ahead of London, which only managed 84th place.
European destinations continue to be popular, with the island of Rhodes, Salzburg in Austria, Bath in England, Dingle in Ireland, Lucerne in Switzerland and the Vatican City in Italy all ranking highly.
The TripAdvisor Traveller's Choice Destinations Awards ranks travellers' favourite places to visit, based on the opinion of millions of people around the world.
