Holiday parc operator Siblu is providing holidaymakers with a more in-depth insight into their holiday destination than the traditional brochure approach.

The company, which operates holiday parcs throughout France, is providing online films of Siblu parcs in Brittany and Charente Maritime – along with previews of the children's clubs and accommodation.

"We know how difficult it is for families to choose a holiday, so we have made use of today's technology to help make the purchasing experience more enjoyable," said Siblu's William Goodridge.

"Our narrated videos work in tandem with Siblu's brochure and website, providing parents with crucial information about environment and atmosphere that cannot be captured in a still image.

"The travel industry has spent years talking about launching video online; we're excited to be the first to go ahead. Feedback on siblucinema during testing is extremely positive and we expect this to prove a big winner."

Meanwhile, Siblu revealed that it has seen a 50 per cent increase in year-on-year bookings during April and May as a result of its off-peak booking deals.

Holidaymakers can save up to 40 per cent by booking early for 2006.

Two adults staying for seven nights in standard holiday accommodation at the four-star Domaine de Kerlann Siblu parc in Brittany departing May 6th 2006 would save £180, meaning a total price of £276 including the return Dover – Calais ferry travel.

Siblucinema video clips and more information on early booking deals can be found at www.siblu.com
