New Edinburgh to Nice route with easyJet

Thursday, 24 Apr 2008 17:20
The first flight from Edinburgh to Nice took off today and the three-times-a-week easyJet service is expected to be popular.

The airline expects to carry 20,000 passengers to the south of France on the route over the next year.

"Forward bookings for the route have been very strong which further proves the demand for direct low-fare flights from Edinburgh to the sun," commented easyJet UK general manager commercial David Osborne.

The new service will run on Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday.
