Caribbean dive trips to undiscovered waters

New day-trips to undiscovered waters close to the Caribbean island of Montserrat are set to appeal to diving enthusiasts visiting the area.
The Montserrat-based Green Monkey dive shop is offering trips to unexplored dive sites off the coast of the uninhabited island of Redonda, which has an unbroken reef 275 metres long.
Redonda's clear waters offer divers a chance to see giant southern stingrays, moray eels and sea turtles, with the possibility of spotting nurse sharks, spotted eagle rays and five-foot barracudas.
The northernmost point of the island - World’s End - has caves to explore, as well as the remnants of a sunken barge.
Dive enthusiasts visiting the Caribbean islands of Nevis, St Kitts and Antigua are also being offered day-trip packages with Air Montserrat.
The trips with the Green Monkey dive shop include a two-tank dive, dive equipment, refreshments and the boat ride from Montserrat to Redonda, (approximately 45 minutes) and cost US$115 per person (around £59) and are available for groups of four or more people.
