Jazz festival getaway in Cayman Islands

Monday, 09 Oct 2006 14:28
As famous for being tax havens as their pirate past, the Cayman Islands are now looking to attract a different kind of visitor - the jazz-loving holidaymaker.

Taking place from November 30th to December 2nd, the Cayman Jazz Fest will feature performances from Natalie Cole, Kem, Boney James and Arturo Tappin as well as local musicians.

One of the highlights of the festival will be the opportunity to enjoy two of the three music events outdoors and soak up the warmth of the tropical evenings.

As well as jazz music, holidaymakers can also enjoy beaches, exploring local wildlife and for the more adventurous, diving.

British Airways Holidays is offering a seven-night stay at the four-star Wyndham Sunshine Suites, Grand Cayman, from £764 per person based on departures during November 2006.

The price includes return scheduled flights from Heathrow, accommodation including continental breakfast and return transfers, based on two adults sharing. Must be booked before November 7th 2006.
