Low-cost, long-haul specialist Zoom Airlines, which recently launched £129 flights to New York from London, is to start a new direct service to Bermuda.

The twice-weekly flights will depart from London Gatwick from June 8th 2007 onwards, costing £199 each way including all taxes, fees and charges.

Additionally, the airline's New York JFK route will also stop in Bermuda twice a week, opening up the possibility of holidaying in both destinations.

"These services will offer people a high quality but affordable way of travelling direct to Bermuda," explained John Boyle, Zoom Airlines co-owner.

He added: "What makes this even more exciting is the opportunity of a twin stay in New York and Bermuda with Zoom scheduled direct flights from London Gatwick."
