Beyonce and Alicia Keyes for Bermuda festival

A star-studded lineup has been announced for the 2008 Bermuda Music Festival this October, including Beyonce and Alicia Keyes.

The four-day event is now in its 13th year and kicks off on October 1st at the Fairmont Southampton Beach Club.

Long-time popular acts such as British reggae stalwarts UB40 and soul singer Aaron Neville will also feature in the programme.

Classic R&B vocal group The Whispers have been entertaining since 1963 and will open the festival with hits such as "And the Beat Goes On".

Crazy in Love singer Beyonce will play at the National Sports Centre on October 2nd and Alicia Keyes will close the festival on October 4th.

The Bermuda festival will be hosted by US comedian and radio personality Steve Harvey.
