Bermuda requires advance passenger information

From next week new laws in Bermuda will require airlines to collect passenger information in advance of travel to the British overseas territory.
The Bermuda regulations require passenger passport information, including the passport number, expiry date, issuing country, given names and last name, gender, date of birth and nationality.
Holidaymakers will have to disclose this information prior to travelling to the popular sunshine destination from May 7th 2008.
Other countries that require advance passenger information include the Caribbean islands of Antigua, Barbados, Grenada, Jamaica, St Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago.
The US, Canada, Spain, China (except Hong Kong), Japan, Mexico and Dubai also require advance disclosure.
The government of the United Kingdom insists on advance information from passengers travelling from the US, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, South Africa, Pakistan, Jamaica, Kenya, Algeria, Iran, Syria and Morocco.
