The ten-hour day out includes going through world heritage-listed rainforest to Lake Morris and the services of an expert guide, and costs £53 per person.

In the same region it is also possible to go on a night walk through the rainforest by the Daintree River and see nocturnal wildlife including lizards, frogs, insects and small mammals.

The trip costs £16 per person, departing from Cooper Creek Wilderness. Transfers from Cape Tribulation are extra.

You can also go on a day-time walk through the area for £37 per person that lasts four hours and includes transfers and morning tea on Thornton beach.
