Thailand suspends 1-2 Go airline

Flights with Thailand domestic airline 1-2 Go have been suspended for 30 days from July 22nd 2008 by the Thai Civil Aviation Department.
Established in 2003, the budget airline flew into trouble last year when one of its flights from Bangkok to Phuket crash landed in September 2007. Over 80 people were killed in the crash.
Both 1-2 Go and parent airline Orient Thai have been suspended pending legal action, Civil Aviation Department director-general Chaisak Angkasuwan announced at a press conference.
Before the suspension 1-2 Go was operating scheduled flight from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Hat Rai, Nhakohm Si Thammarat, Phuket and Surat Thani.
