New family holiday operator launches

Monday, 04 Dec 2006 11:37
A new tour operator specialising in family holidays has released its first trips for the 2007 season.

Independent family holiday operator Families Worldwide aims to provide a more flexible and personal service for families looking for an alternative to more conventional package holidays.

The company has grouped its holidays according to four themes - activity, discovery, natural world and responsible travel.

Among the holidays for 2007 is an eight-day trip to Morocco (£679 per adult, £569 per child), where families can explore kasbahs and bazaars, learn to cook a tajine stew, walk in the Atlas mountains, and ride camels in the old pirate's town and port of Essaouira.

For families with more to spend, the company has a nine-day real-life Jungle Book holiday to the heart of India.

The tour includes a visit to the Pench Tiger Reserve, Kanha National Park and a trip to the Taj Mahal. Prices are £1,189 per adult and £999 per child.
